  • Arbour Woodfired Pizza

    17 Oxford Street, Lyttelton

    Pizzas are the headline act with a setlist of favourites. Rata - a classic take on the Margherita - will not disappoint. Look out for a couple of more obscure numbers too, Horopito being an instant hit, with roasted lamb on a confit garlic base. Expect a perfectly charred full moon of deliciousness with masses of flavour courtesy of their homemade tomato sauce, and hand-stretched Wairiri buffalo mozzarella. There’s plenty to please vegetarians and vegans with a section of the menu dedicated to plant-based options.

  • Blue House Bakery

    Vegan bakery. Sourdough focussed, using freshly milled local grains baked every week on a Wednesday.

    The menu is posted up on Friday with orders closing on Mondays at 7pm.

    Collection is from 15 Voelas Road or from 2.30 at Upbeet Kai, 21 Albert Terrace, St Martins.

    Bomba is a hidden gem of a pizza place located at a cosy corner of Lyttelton. Situated at London Street, Bomba serves some of the most authentic pizzas, gelato and other Italian-inspired bites at a stall featuring an alfresco dining garden. Bomba offers drooling Napoli-style pizza slices for a well-worth-it $5 at Lyttleton’s Farmers Market. Plus, they craft huge deliciously doughy, thick sliced pizzas to share with your mates, or even tuck into yourself.

  • Lyttelton Farmers Market

    Every Saturday from 10am to 1pm, on London Street

    Stallholders with fresh fruit and vegetables, free range eggs, bread, meat, fish, cheese, juices, herbs and plants sell at the market every week.

    Walk down the street on market day and you will see the stalls arranged in ‘pods’ with strategically placed gaps. We want to encourage shoppers to meander in and out, on and off the foot path.

    The Top Club serves delicious meals for all the family and every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights the Carvery is an additional option.

    For the carvery, simply order your meat selection at the bar, either Lamb, Beef or Pork; then watch Chef Steve or apprentice Dan carve you out a generous serve of protein. From there, you can help yourself to the selection of vegetables to suit your taste buds.

    The Ōtoromiro Hotel, formerly known as the Governors Bay Hotel, was founded in 1870 and is located towards the head of Lyttelton harbour, 20 minutes from central Christchurch or 10 minutes from Lyttelton Township.
